A hike, a flat tire and a close call

Ok, so, today I decided, since I was feeling at least somewhat better, that I'd go for a walk. It's been a little while since my great-Aunt Myla and I talked more, and I felt like I needed to take a walk and think about everything that's been happening. Oh, and if you're wondering, I found out that even though there's the whole occasional blood drinking thing, I don't have to really worry about the sun and stuff effecting me (if anything, there might be times where the sun might seem a little brighter to me, but that's about it).

I was glad to hear I haven't changed that much. At the same time, though, part of me wanted to make sure that was the case, which is partly why I went for a walk. Even despite what's happened, I wasn't worried about taking a hike by myself. I figured since it was daytime, and Vampires couldn't go out during the day, I was fine.

So, after driving to Point Park, I went and started on my hike. It was actually really nice to be able to just walk along the path, see the monuments and stuff, and just pretend like things were normal. I also went and visited the museum there and, after awhile, I started to feel hungry so I decided to go and find somewhere to eat.

After getting some lunch, I decided to drive around some and see where I ended up. At one point, though, while I was driving around, the thought of getting some garlic and stuff came to mind. As much as I wanted to just forget about that for at least a little while, I knew I'd have to get some stuff to defend myself against Blake eventually.

So, I went and found places to buy garlic, a mirror, etc. and then went and kept them in my car as I continued to drive around. At one point, as I drove around, I heard a radio announcer mention bat sightings in the area. When I heard that, despite not hearing anything about anyone being found injured, I felt a bit of a chill.

I knew it was Blake. Who else could it be? Unless, of course, there happened to be another Vampire in the area I didn't know about. I doubted it, though.

Not too long after I heard about the bat sighting, I started to notice it getting dark. I hadn't totally been paying attention to the time, but I hadn't thought it was that late. For some reason, though, even though it was getting dark, I didn't think I should go back to the hotel. At least, not right away. I figured I'd be ok for awhile, since it wasn't completely dark yet.

After awhile, though, after I had some dinner, I decided to head back to the hotel. Something unexpected happened, though. Before I could get all the way back to the hotel, my car got a flat tire. I wasn't really sure what to do. I thought about changing the tire myself (while I tried to remember if I had a spare tire or not), but I wasn't sure if I should. Especially with how dark it was now. I also thought about just waiting for someone to come by and help, but I wasn't sure how long that'd be ( if at all).

So, after thinking for awhile, I figured my best option was to go and try and change the tire myself. I went and checked and thankfully still had a spare tire (and some tools). After changing the tire (which I, thankfully, didn't run into too many challenges with), I started putting things in the trunk so I could head back to the hotel. Just as I was finishing that, I heard a noise like a wolf growl.

I looked around me, but didn't see anything. Despite that, I felt like I was being watched. I looked around for a little while, then went and got in the car so I could get out of there. Not too long after that, though, I saw it. There was a wolf right outside the driver-side door and was trying to get in.

I froze when I saw it, not sure what to do. I also thought about how if I'd waited any longer to get in the car I would've run into a huge problem. At one point, as I watched this wolf try to get me, somehow, I came to my senses, started the car and drove out of there.

I didn't stop driving until I got back to the hotel. When I did, I went and grabbed my things, ran inside and up to my hotel room. Once there, I ran into the bathroom (the reality of the situation hitting me) and I started to feel sick.
